Average rainfall still down for the year

April showers bring May flowers. What did June bring? Not a lot of rain. June brought an average of 2.35 inches of precipitation to the Great Miami River Watershed. That is 2.17 inches below the monthly average. The highest amount of 4.42 inches was recorded at the station near Arcanumand the lowest amount of 1.10 inches was recorded at the station near Centerville. As of June 30, the Great Miami River Watershed has received 21.67 inches of precipitation in 2024 which is 0.43 inches below average for this point in the calendar year.
