NEW! Manager of Water Resources & Hydrology
Are you passionate about water resources and ready to make a measurable impact? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Water Resources & Hydrology to lead critical programs that protect our region from flooding, safeguard water quality, and ensure sustainable water management for the future.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in water resources or hydrology. Supervisory or project management experience required.
Strong knowledge of hydrology, groundwater systems, water quantity and quality analysis and experience with data systems. Proficiency with hydrologic monitoring equipment and sampling equipment, field instrumentation, and data visualization tools. Ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights clearly. Familiarity with programming or data processing tools is a plus.

Seasonal Laborer - $16/hr.
MCD is looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to fill our seasonal laborer positions. If this describes you – we would love to speak with you!

Responsibilities:
Candidates for the seasonal laborer position will primarily be responsible for mowing and weed-eating the steep slopes along the Great Miami River. The types of equipment that candidates would learn to operate may include a zero-turn mower, a tractor, and/or weed-eater with either plastic string or plastic knives.
Other responsibilities may include using picks, shovels, chain saws, hand tools, dump trucks, pressure washers, pumps, hoses, scrapers, brooms, blowers, painting, trash pickup, and/or other grounds maintenance procedures. The assignments may change during the season.
Requirements:
Eligible candidates must have a valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record and be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
