Trenton Community Park
The City of Trenton’s Trenton Community Park is 164.02 acres of land both on the North and South sides of Elk Creek. Public amenities are available on the 57.76 acres to the South of Elk Creek, including access to Elk Creek. Community Park currently has a one-mile walking path located around its perimeter. Located inside this walking trail are three picnic shelters, two NBA sized basketball courts, an amphitheater, swing sets, two-child play structures, park benches, water fountains, and a full restroom facility (open seasonally). A splash pad has been purchased and slated for future installation. In the meantime, the community enjoys free monthly events, including Movies in the Park, concerts, and festivals. Shelters can be rented free of charge by City residents. Reservations are booked on a first-come basis. The over 100 acres North of Elk Creek is undeveloped and not open to the public.
The land is currently leased by a local horse farm that uses the area for riding trails. The beautiful forest land is visible from the Great Miami Riverway’s Trenton Trailhead and SR73.
